As part of West Bergholt Concert Band's 30th Anniversary, the band is reaching out to a number of local schools to involve them in a series of workshops & concerts. Heathlands has always been the band's home, and musicians from the school have always been a key part of the band, so we'd be particularly pleased to involve any players from Heathlands in our events during 2008. Any musical friends & family are also welcome !

If you'd like to join in, you just need to play a Woodwind or Brass instrument, and be around Grade 1 standard or above. Everyone at these events will be seeing the music for the first time on the day, so everyone's starting from scratch…plus you'll get to meet players from other schools & play some great music.

If you're interested in playing with the band, but can't make any of the above dates, you can of course come & see us at Heathlands on a Friday evening - Training Band (for players up to Grade 4) runs from 6pm-7pm, and Concert Band (Grade 4 & above) runs from 7pm-9pm.
